"A lovely old building. We had the spa bath room. Next time I’ll ditch the bath and ask for a room with a view. Check in person was lovely and competent. Room was clean and nice, not modern but that’s ok we knew that when booking. I would say to anyone who has mobility issues to be aware it is positioned at the top of a steep hill… so if you’re planning to walk to shops etc you will need to have reasonable fitness to get up and down the stairs or pathways. "

This is not a 5 star hotel with room service and in-house movies, this is a place to reconnect with your loved ones and the environment. No TV makes you talk to each other without any distractions. "On the Beach 2 was lovely. The spaces and proximity to the beach were exactly as advertised and we really enjoyed our stay. We loved the beach and the easy walk to town and wineglass bay cruise. The only feedback would be that the Queen bed was tired and not very comfortable. Mattress could do with replacing."

"The property is in an excellent location close to the beach and with magnificent views across the bay to the mountains in Freycinet NP. There is a nice deck with a pan outside dining set and barbecue from which to enjoy the view. The kitchen was well equipped. The one downside to the property is that there are no clothes closets."
