"Very clean and no complaints "

"We had a good stay at the Townplace Suites in East Lansing. Although the hotel feels a bit dated, the room was clean, the service was fine, and the breakfast was tasty. The one thing that surprised me is that they charge a $5 fee to use the small gym on the premises. "

"The room was fine. I had a hard time understanding the clerk. Went for breakfast and the coffee maker wasn't working, and half of the juice machine wasn't working."

"Weekend street parking is free, and found a spot on the side street next tot he hotel, so that was a bonus. Room was nice, and clean. Convenient location to walk to multiple restaurants and bars. The Riverwalk nearby was very nice with a sculptures and installation pieces. "

"The hotel felt unsafe. When we pulled in at 10 pm there were people loitering in the parking lot. A man who was standing next to the building when we came in followed us in and sat down watching us in the lobby while we checked in. We had to wait for the check-in person who said nothing. Then, we heard people loudly talking and shouting to each other all night. We hardly slept. In the morning we tried to get breakfast at 9:02 and found out it was closed. Again, we had to call for the front desk person to check out who I complained to about breakfast. He said sorry - then after I shared that it was loud and I hardly slept offered me a yogurt to take with me. If my child goes to Michigan State I will not stay here."

"The bed was so uncomfortable. Our room was dirty. Crumbs on the furniture, food behind the doors. The pull out couch that we didn't book but had to take was super uncomfortable for our two kids and that had trash folded up in it."

"Says no smoking allowed yet Entire building reeked of weed smoke "
