"Did not stay here. After checking in, found out that the pool was closed. False advertisement. Was still charged fee. Call before you book to ensure amenities in working order."

"I did not end up staying at the Red Carpet Inn in Edison because the property was so far below the expectations created by its online listing that I felt compelled to cancel my reservation upon arrival. The photos, ratings, and descriptions were misleading and did not accurately reflect the condition and quality of the property. What appeared online and what I encountered in person were significantly different. As an out-of-town traveler, I relied on the information provided through the booking platform to make an informed decision. Unfortunately, I felt deceived by the presentation of the hotel, and I did not feel comfortable proceeding with my stay. What makes this experience even more frustrating is that Hotels.com has not been supportive in resolving the issue or providing a refund, despite the fact that the property did not meet the reasonable expectations established by its listing. Customers should be able to trust that ratings, photos, and descriptions accurately represent the accommodations they are booking. I strongly encourage prospective guests to do additional research before booking. In my opinion, the online rating does not accurately reflect the experience I had when I arrived. Greater transparency from both the property and the booking platform would help travelers make better-informed decisions and avoid similar disappointments."

"The property was good and close to places, but the bar needs improvement. The staff at the bar were confused and not able to handle all the customers there. Me and my husband ordered food and waited for over an hour. When we saw our food coming, it was given to a different table who arrived there after us. I told the bartender that was our food and he said he understood and he would go back to the kitchen to make ours then. Who does that? And also we were trying to get the check for 30 minutes but both of the bartenders were gone, so I had to go to the front desk to try to pay for our meal and drinks."
