「Firstly, although advertised, there is no breakfast at all. This needs to be removed from Expedia, etc. May have earned an excellent rating, if not for this deception. Checking was quick and efficiently professional, despite the 4-person line. We stayed in a large, deluxe King room, which was located on the ground floor, in a detached building, overlooking the harbor. Nice. 「We stayed at first floor with ocean view. Parking is small but enough. This hotel faces on the ocean so it is convenient to walk to the bridge. But this area is similar to Montrey but very cold in May. This town is very small so only limited choice of the restaurant and it looks pricy.」

「This place is really nice! Rooms are adorable and the grounds are beautiful. Easy trail access to Van Damme beach and the trail itself is lined with wildflowers and lovely views. Nice chicken enclosure where you can feed them and the Llama are so cute! Breakfast delivered to tour room in the morning was very nice and the pizza restaurant had a nice selection of pizzas and salads. Super nice staff as well! Highly recommend!」

The place was great, and the ocean view was fantastic, but we didn't realize there aren't any trail/path options for walking, and we have an active dog. We asked if we could switch to the Farm location, and the staff went out of their way after hours to move us even though it was difficult because our reservation was through Expedia and not directly with them.
