"We had a wonderful stay at this vacation home this past weekend! It was very clean, lots of space, and a cozy wood burning stove to keep us warm ☺️ I wish we could have had a more extended stay but I know where I’ll be the next time I go to the Mt Shasta area!"

McCloud is a small, relatively quiet town that has not been gentrified. There a few good restaurants and bars and coffee shops that are unpretentious and serve relatively high quality food and drinks. Outdoor options abound all around.

McCloud is a magical place sitting at the base of Mt Shasta’s south flank. You won’t get a better view of Mt Shasta anywhere else in the vicinity of the mountain. The mountain is in full view. Clean water in abundance and fresh air all around!

Go to the cafe by the kyaks on Quincy St. They have great coffees!
