We visited the Lower Klamath Falls National Wildlife Refuge area that was about 6 miles away. Wonderful birding. Lots of eagles and hawks and thousands of ducks and geese.

Small quiet town except for the Semi trucks passing. Gas station,liqueur store, hardware store, mini mart ,good Mex.restaurants, Bakery (with good coffee) all close by. All stores/shops we visited had friendly staff.
