"Nice place to stay that is pretty close (8 miles) to Yosemite. The rooms are all on the second floor up an outside steep staircase if that is difficult for you. They have no front desk there so you have to check in at the Cedar Lodge down the street but that was no big deal. The room had a kitchenette of sorts with a hot plate, dishes etc but we didn’t realize that so didn’t take advantage of it. Friendly staff. Clean room. "

"This was a lovely secluded property that allowed us to take our dog for a few days in the mountains. It was only 10 minutes into downtown Mariposa, and an hour to an hour and a half to Yosemite depending on which entrance you take: Arch Entry 1 hour, South/Mariposa Grove 1 1/2.
