Positives: *Contactless property; the owner Mark was very nice & respectfully answered my questions via text regarding parking. *Check-in process very well-organised w/ clear instructions for key access/code etc. *Electric block-out blind helped w/ privacy, noise & light in the mornings. *Bathroom sink & vanity: Somewhat clean w/ good bench space. Negatives: *Really unfortunate to report the negative aspects of this property as Mark was so polite & helpful (as per above). *Generally, a very uncomfortable stay. *Guest house hasn’t been well-maintained; old house needs attending to. *When it rained, the front porch almost flooded w/ rain coming down the gutters. *Needs to be routinely fumigated & then surface-sprayed frequently. Had to deal w/ two cockroaches during my 2-day stay! *Only two parking spots on the property & street parking not timed ONLY during the weekend. *Smell upon arrival & during my stay was a mix of mould, air freshener & chlorine. *Room was nothing like the photo on Expedia. It hadn’t been cleaned / vacuumed at all well so I had to place my luggage on the bed & slept on one side of the mattress. *Mattress was old & so soft, felt like quick sand; it was really difficult to actually get out of it, nearly strained my wrist extensor / flexor muscles! During sleep,felt like I was sinking! *Furniture very old, second hand & dirty & not at all functional or computer-user friendly. *The fridge appeared clean on the outside but was mouldy on the inside.

We stayed in room 216 for three nights, it was great! Regina at front desk was awesome, letting us check in earlier after our long flight from the US. Apartments are spacious clean and comfortable, everything you need for a great stay! Close to all the sights if you are happy to walk, Circular Quay, Sydney Habour, Opera House, Botanical Gardens! Coffee place at the end of Dowling St was great! Bus stop close by to get to Bondi. Would stay again if coming back to Sydney!
