Had a little problem with the toilet but the staff said they would be quick to fix it. Other than that our stay was great. The food and service were excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Great property, reasonably priced, comfortable and clean room. Kitchenette was great and the bathroom was lovely. I found the bed to be incredibly comfortable.
Breakfast buffet was great, plenty of choices, and allergens were labeled for all items; separate space for gluten-free items.
Laundry room was good, small washers & dryers that were serviceable and free for guests (byo detergent), and much appreciated.
Staff were all polite, helpful, and seemed genuinely pleasant.

Lovely place to be. The room may be small but you'll love the feel of the home. The shower is usually a concern of mine when traveling. Didsbury park did a wonderful job at bringing a modern feel while keeping the warmth of a historic edifice. I had breakfast each day outside as the weather was phenomenal for the UK. I half expected the Queen to show up. (she didn't, kind of a curmudgeon.) I will have a honeymoon here someday, once I get over the whole idea of being married .

I'm an elderly Mancunian who emigrated to the USA many years ago. My husband and I wanted a central location in England to visit my family and old friends. Saco Piccadilly was perfect for our needs. We had a Britrail pass and were able to see everyone comparatively easily during our 11 day stay. Piccadilly station is an easy 5 minute walk from the hotel and is an excellent modern facility. I had a really nice stay at the Holiday Inn in Manchester. I was traveling alone, and the hotel was a great choice for my visit. My room was comfortable and had everything I needed. I especially liked the convenient location, which made it easy to get around and explore the city on my own. After a long day of sightseeing, it was nice to come back and relax. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again!
