「The Inn was a friendly well run place with good food and staff, being near the Trainline to Chester/ Manchester was useful too. The only issue we found was the width of the bed, too narrow! A 4.5 foot bed is too narrow so our sleep was not too good.」

「Lovely little inn in very quiet location (though easy to get to Halifax). Room was great size, good facilities, bed was comfy! We had a nice view of a sheep field. Cooked breakfast was only available Friday - Sunday, but we were provided with a little cool bag of breakfast items which was unexpected bonus. We only stayed one night for an event in Halifax, but would definitely stay again and for longer.」

The door lock was strange, perhaps just something I'm not used to, but I struggled with ensuring that it was locked during the night. (I work in a technical field, I'm not dim, but jeez, I felt stupid) Considering people milling around outside the pub at night were quite drunk, shouty, and possessed of questionable decision making, I ended up putting a chair in front of the door...
