「The tipping point for good customer service, was ordering Uber eats, and I waited for almost an hour, and the staff calling the pizza place, and notifying me when it finally got there, an hour and 1/2 later. The place was clean, amenities were there, they have a bar and restaurant on-site. It looks refurbished, the only slight problem was the shower was a bit lukewarm, but iti might have been because I was at the end of hallway
They also have an elevator, which is another bonus 」
「The Grassington Lodge is truly minimalist. A very small room, two bath towels, and one hand towel. For the third of three nights they added a bath mat and a bar of soap.
The only staff ever present was the cleaning lady and her assistant. She was kind and helpful but certainly not enough to welcome and assist guests. 」
「Excellent hotel with friendly, polite and helpful staff. Rooms as described, spacious clean with a lovely designed ensuite . Biggest plus was the swimming pool with sauna, whirlpool etc , very clean and large.
Overall a great stay and we will definitely return in the future.」
「Pleasantly surprised. Paul was very welcoming & friendly. He gave us advice on taxis and where to go (taxi less than £7 to first direct arena - dont get uber!). Hotel dated but really nice. Breakfast was lovely with enough choice. Room good, bed a bit too soft for me. The fan was a welcome addition as it got hot overnight and the quilt is very warm. Shower was extremely powerful only issue with it is its an overhead shower which isnt great for us ladies not wanting to get their hair wet (luckily...
「Stayed here with a friend in preparation for Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. Check in very easy. Warm welcome. Very hospitable staff. We had to leave the hotel early next morning before kitchen opened but staff left us breakfast (cereals, yogurt etc) out for us which was really appreciated. Also made us sandwiches to take with us. Pub/bar and food was really good. Cosy. 」
「We stayed one night before flying from Leeds Bradford Airport. Can’t comment on the food as we didn’t eat at the hotel but the bar/lounge area was pleasant. Bed was comfortable and room was reasonable for the price」
