「We chose it for the spa which was well looked after and in good quality. The room was very tired, soft furnishing were ok but paint and decor was very old as was the bathroom. Food at the linden was adequate but at London prices. We only ate there once.」

「The hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants and is within walking distance of Newcastle University. The city centre is also easily accessible by bus. The staff were exceptional: warm, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. Free coffee was also available throughout the day, which was a nice extra.」

「Although the meal in the restaurant in the evening was very good. The breakfast was very poor. The ingredients was of a very poor quality. Cereals were sub standard. As for the main breakfast, hash browns, bacon, baked beans were absolutely shocking. The bacon itself was barely cooked and the eggs were very similar. On top of this the plates were stone cold. When l asked the waiter why, he challenged the chef who hadn’t put the warmer draw on. Even the fruit juice was totally tasteless.」

「This accommodation about 15 to 20 minutes walk into the main town/ harbour. Taking longer if you want to avoid walking through a industrial area. However it was well lit and at no point felt unsafe. Lots of free parking. Very good sized rooms with all needed for a comfortable stay. I would have liked some more lights in the room. But didn't ask .
