"Our experience was perplexing from the start, with directions so inadequate that we had to ask the way. When we arrived I was attacked by geese at large in the grounds. Despite profuse apologies from the owner's wife, and the geese then confined to a wired pen, the owner said he wouldn't be lectured, walking away when I offered some advice on the facilities. "We loved this hotel- room was spacious and very clean with lovely view over golf course. Nice bar and restaurant, nice breakfast and friendly staff. Easy parking. My only issue was the midgie insects around (like mosquitos) that seemed to find me several times in my room, and bit me all night. Such a small thing. My husband loved the gym and we had several swims and spas which is well run. Good location. "
