Atrium Hotel Heathrow

Atrium Hotel Heathrow

8/10 Good
"First off, this is not a 4* property. Having said that, I would recommend anyone looking for a hotel that is not “in” the airport to stay here. Access: couldn’t be easier. 2 stops on the tube, and if arriving from LHR T5, it’s a short walk and elevator ride to the T5 station, and a 2 minute walk to the hotel. The transfer is free and takes about ten minutes. The hotel is literally across the street. The property: safe, clean but basic. Has everything you need / want, but no frills. When i walked from the station I saw planes flying over at low altitude (landing) so was worried about noise, but didn’t hear a Thing. I arrived at 11:45am and was given access to my room, which was great as I could shower and leave my bags before heading in to town. Staff was friendly and helpful. Sidenote: I stayed in an odd numbered room, which had a window to the outside. I can’t Confirm this, but it seemed like even numbered rooms faced in door - you may want to double check. They have. Window to outside, if that is important to you. I paid less than $100 for the night which was great value for money and would def stay here again for the sheer convenience of It. n"

"The hotel was basic but fitted the needs of the short stay. The irons on the 5th didn’t work at all and the irons on the 11th floor operated for 1 minute at a time. The irons were steam irons with no facility to top up with water, meaning a trip back down to level 1 for water to return back up to the laundry room on 11th. The hotel is really well situated in centre London close to Piccadilly, China Town, Leceister Square and other local places. Early check in is £40 per room, or baggage drop £15 per bag with checkin at 14:30 and check out 10:00."

"An ideal place to stay for museums, Royal Albert Hall, South Kensington and VERY easy access to all of London. Staff were gorgeous, helpful and kind. Reception 24hrs. Breakfast is worth the (little) extra payments. Would definitely come back."

"The location was very good as it was near Holborn underground station and it was genuinely clean apart from a towel with what appeared to be poo stains on it. There was no water in the room and it didn’t have a pen too. The lady who checked me out didn’t say either thank you for your stay or check out is complete , I had to ask wether it was done or not as she was just concentrating on what she was looking g at before I asked her to check me out . Apart from that it was an ok hotel with nice enough buffet breakfast and convenient for me. Just shame some things were poor which ruined the stay really . Would o ly recommend if you’re on a very tight budget and only staying for 1 night."
