「This is the most charming cottage. John and Arthur have thoughtfully created a comfortable and tranquil space. Yet, it is close to many fun restaurants, shopping and even breweries. Park Street in Alameda has it all. Easy into San Francisco on the ferry or a short car ride. If you’re lucky to have a chat with the hosts they are as charming and fascinating as the home they have curated. 」

「Cottage was adorable. The yard was large, and a great place for a gathering of family, lots of table and chairs. Elaine was a most gracious hostess.」

「I was only there for one evening. I wanted to be close to the Oakland airport for my Monday mid morning flight to avoid traffic. It’s a perfect place for that. No need to get on the freeway and just a short 4-5 mile drive down the hill. Very pretty area too. Oh and the water pressure for the shower was awesome and heats up quick. Thank you again for a very convenient and peaceful stay! I will stay again when in the area. 」

「We had a wonderful stay here. The place is bigger than it looked in the pictures. It was very cozy and I definitely felt I was home! Everything we needed was at the place. Very clean and host was very welcoming and responsive. Thank you! 」

「Was in town for a comedy show at the SAP Center. It was literally 10 mins away with a uber. Great location, right next to downtown San Jose. Quinn let us check in 30 mins early. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Bed in the bedroom was extremely comfortable compared to anywhere else. Almost felt like home. Shower was big, washer and dryer and a patio area to relax. 」

「Clean, top notch property and hosts! So many amenities. We enjoyed our stay!!」

「I am not sure if it's the property manager, who did call and apologize the next day, or VRBO processes and management. We were not able to access the property at midnight, having just arrived in Oakland. After repeated attempts to contact the property manager all day for a door code, I finally called VRBO. The property had been rented, possibly under a different company. I am not sure. We were left to find accomodations at 1 AM. The property was right by the family's house we were visiting so...

「This property was in a lovely and safe neighborhood, and offered a peaceful and private experience. The only drawback was that it does not have air conditioning, so if the temps are high, the cottage does get quite warm during the day but then cools off very nicely at night. The extra bonus is that there's a small private patio area dedicated just to the cottage. A wonderful plus!」

「Enjoyed staying here. We thought the location was good and my daughter loved the bed. The kitchen was fine. The hot water supply could maybe be improved a touch, but it was adequate. Overall excellent. 」
