"They don’t have elevators . You have to climb lots of stairs . Everything is a walk . The parking was across the street and down the road . The food was mediocre and mostly American . The good - the beach was awesome and most of the staff were exceptional."

"My stay here was just what my body, mind and soul needed. It was peaceful, serene, with friendly and accommodating staff. The food was great and the check in and check out process was seamless. I love the fact that I could charge my meals to the room and pay upon checkout so that I didn't have to travel with cash when I went to have lunch or dinner. The bathroom shower does need a little updating but loved the rustic, old charm, cottage feel. The beach and the availability of chairs to relax were awesome. I am already booking my next trip."

"We stayed here for 8 nights for our honeymoon. The room was nice and clean, although they were not straightforward about the room being 2 beds instead of 1 despite paying the $69 room selection fee. The staff were generally friendly and helpful, but the higher-ups were not eager to go above and beyond. There was a complication with getting the complimentary honeymoon package and there was no real effort made to resolve it so we got the special honeymoon dinner and that was it. The beach view wasn’t great, it’s fairly small but it was exclusive which was nice. The spa treatments were a little more than I wanted to pay despite having a coupon book by booking through Expedia. The food was generally great, the room service was the only time it was lacking. Overall it was pretty good, I would recommend it."

"This is a real hidden gem boutique hotel close to everything and well located in Negril. If you're a "Fancy All-Inclusive" type of person, this place is not for you. If you want a real Jamaican experience with friendly locals and relaxing low-key tourists then go ahead and book at Legends. To have the option of visiting their sister resort Samsara within a shuttle drive is the best of both worlds. You can go back and forth between both and experience the cliffs/snorkeling/pools and the nice pristine beach at Legends. Both resorts have great and diverse food. Entertainment on the weekends and are 20 minute walk to downtown Negril and less to other restaurants and entertainment places. Vanessa, Jennifer, are amazing waitresses, Jean and O'Neill are great cooks, Neville keeps the property clean and Michael will look after you and your belongings on the beach side keeping you safe."
