"This is really our only option for this area and we have stayed here many, many times. As time has passed it has become more and more run down. It is being painted on the inside now but the exterior is really run down. It needs a super refresh. The people running the hotel seem to be doing what they can but it is really lacking and gets rougher every year. Needs new room furniture, carpet, etc. The window shades seemed new and good. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The shower didn't work when we checked in but was fixed within 20 minutes of notifying the staff. The pool area was huge and the whirlpool was very relaxing. The only suggestion I would make is to figure out how the crickets are making their way into the pool area. The lobby area/breakfast area was a great place to relax without having to sit in your room. If I'm ever in the area again I will be staying here!
