Staying in a Tagus Marina house boat was a great experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The house boat was nice clean with comfortable beds the only critique would be that the living room could have had more comfortable seating options after a long day of exploring Lisbon. The location is great with a variety of restaurants, bars and the Lisbon Aquarium close by. The Lisboa Oriente station is within walking distance with access by train, bus or Metro to anywhere you would want...

We stayed 9 nights in this extraordinary hotel in the heart of Lisbon. First, this 35 room hotel has been entirely restored to its original Art Deco form, including cork floors in the room, beautiful marquetry floors in the lobby, elegant furniture and art work in the lobby and bar. Also the sleek, elegant Art Deco door handles (that are beautiful but not so easily grasped). There is a spectacular breakfast every morning, including traditional Portuguese staples like sardines in olive oil...

The property was clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff was first class. Very polite and helpful with any questions we had. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in Lisbon.

Absolutely love this place, the people, and the location. You walk down a nice hill from the airport to get there! Where else would you want?

Wonderful place! The ming size bed was nice and to US standards. The location is great. And most importanly the staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating!

I loved this hotel so much! I did not want to leave. I actually felt very down the day we checked out. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels but never had such impeccable care. It was above and beyond. Excellent hotel, very clean and new. Very good sound isolation so rooms are quiet. Good Windows too that do a great job blocking out some of the plane flyovers and vehicle flowcan occur in the neighborhood. Very good location, right in front of the Metro stop. On top of it all the breakfast is very good.

We stayed for 2 days after our cruise. We arrive early. Front desk was welcoming and offered us an available room. We declined and said we’d wait for our reserved room on the upper floor. We toured Lisbon and returned to Lumen in the mid afternoon. Here’s when the service was exceptional. Front desk was friendly; offered us breakfast at 10 euros and a 30% restaurant discount. Beautiful hotel great location!

The hotel is one of the most beautiful places that I ever stayed. Fantastic location, exceptional service throughout Immaculately clean in the middle of old town but still very quiet. I can't wait to return.

Great staff, clean, beautiful, convenient to the airport with free shuttle.

Extremely convenient for Oriente train and metro station. Compact rooms had all the necessities. Would have been nice to also have a small fridge and coffee making supplies in the room. Beds were comfortable and we didn’t hear noise from the train station.
