「You have to remember this is a mom and pop place and so for the price point this was a good place. We were there for the bluegrass festival and our other options were more expensive or much farther away. As such the place is in need of an update and did provide the necessities. It met our needs. McCormick is just a few miles down the road and we can recommend the Little Italy restaurant and the Huddle House.」

「We had a great time!!! It was a beautiful, spacious house! The only thing I would add is more kitchen essentials. We only found two small frying pans so breakfast took longer than expected but other than that we loved it. My kids absolutely loved the bottom area of the house and the dock where they did a lot of jumping off!!」

「This is not a review although it gets 5 stars. Except for Petra. She was very helpful and nice before the trip and after my husband got back I have written 3-4 emails and she has not responded to any of them. So, Petra is great but not a great communicator and that is what this industry is all about. 「Very nice place to stay. The house was clean, had nice amenities (good Wi-Fi, AC, full kitchen), and was in a great location. I do have to agree with another review that the downstairs futon was unusable as a bed. As far as comfort, we had four adults and that seemed the right size for the house. In my opinion, any more people would have made the house feel too crowded.」

「This was the second year our group of 4 senior golfers has stayed here while golfing at local courses and attending The Masters. Our experience was great again. Nice rustic cabin with everything we needed. Hopefully, we can do it again next year. I really wish the owner would replace the upstairs futon with a single bed though! Thanks!」

「We had a good time. The rooms were spacious and each slept 3 comfortably with private bath in each bedroom. The only issue was the hike to the dock and the golf cart died after 1 trip. There was plenty of parking for 3 trucks and boat trailers.」

「We enjoyed our stay. It was close to Lincolnton where we were attending a Bluegrass Festival. We were there only at night, but it was comfortable, clean and quiet. Everything was in working order. We ate a yummy meal at El Sombrero in Lincolnton. We also drove through the two nearby State Parks-they were really pretty as well. When we are in the area again next year, we hope and plan to stay in the townhome again.」
