"The location was excellent"

"Located near where the cruise ships dock; it's a perfect place to checkout the old town or wander up to Sunset Beach with all the restaurants and bars...and yes, sunsets. The rooms were clean and big...and the beds were comfy. All the staff were very helpful; we also were able to enjoy an afternoon at the pool...so lovely. Highly recommend!"

"Modern and spacious apartments in a quiet location, but still easy to get to the hussle and bustle of the old town. The apartments have everything you need to feel like you are at home. Ours was on the ground floor, so we had no views, but I guess that this is the luck of the draw. Staff were very helpful. The front desk is not always open, but once they had settled us in, we kept in touch on WhatsApp and they always responded to our needs and questions. There was some noise from the family above. They also had a young child that was very active. The apartments have tiled floors and not many soft furnishings, so the noise travels between apartments, but the family kept reasonable hours, so the noise was only during waking hours."

"I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel! It is clean, comfortable, and beautiful! Because it is further from the old town of Dubrovnik, it is quiet and relaxed. There is both an indoor and outdoor pool, as well as an indoor jacuzzi. Our stay was absolutely lovely!"

"Great experience and a lovely breakfast spread. Professional staff. Got a massage at the inhouse spa and it was wonderful. Across the street from the inlet to the port, lots of walkable restaurants. "

"Anita greeted us with a big smile and offered many great tips to make our visit to Dubrovnik a pleasant one. The room was spotless and very well equipped. The grounds surrounding the hotel were very welcoming. Located across the street is a food market, bakery and a great restaurant and just around the corner (a short walk) a line of restaurants and bars with Lapad Beach topping the area off await you.The spotless promenade overlooks Lapad Beach and leads you to the Cave Bar and More Hotel which as a guest of Villa Filaus is at your disposal…a great place to have a cool drink and swim after touring Old Town Dubrovnik. Great job Villa Filaus!"

"Omg! This was a 100/10! The hotel is just breathtaking but don’t get me started on the staff. They were just incredible and kind. As a person of color traveling in Europe, I’m very conscious of where I stay and I will say this hotel was the most welcoming hotel my partner and I ever stayed in.
