"If you’re thinking about staying in Lakeland, stay here! It’s close to everything, just a few miles to Joker Merchant Stadium, and Cheddar restaurant is in the same parking lot, it is delicious. We stayed 3 nights and had zero complaints/problems. The hotel is so clean, smells so fresh, rooms were roomy, beds comfortable, and clean, staff were all nice, and complimentary breakfast was delicious-not your normal free hotel breakfast. The pool and workout areas were also very nice. The best part is that when you are in your room it feels like you’re the only ones in the hotel. It’s so quiet. We were close to the elevator, we never heard it, never heard room doors shutting, other toilets flushing, people talking, nothing. We will be back next Spring for Tigers baseball. "

"Not much to complain about. Great location, with easy access off the interstate. Room was quite spacious and well appointed. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate. We would stay here again when in the area."

"It was a bit frustrating driving 4 hrs to be told that our room wasn’t ready at 4:30 when check in time was 3. Then when we came back after attending the concert at the Strawberry festival there was no parking available because of all the construction equipment in the parking lot. But the young lady who was working allowed us to park in the front. She was extremely nice and the issues had nothing to do with her. "

"I don’t even know where to start!!! When you pull up you think what a pretty hotel, you walk in the front door the smell from the air fresheners are way too strong you can’t stay in lobby long- We were greeted by a wonderful and I would say the most professional & kind receptionist her name is Kayla (the rest were horrible)! We got up to our room and it looked clean. We unpacked and settled in for the night. I was on my bed and my husband looked over and saw a bug crawling on the sheet. I got it although it was tiny and took a picture of it to find in horror that it was a BED BUG!! I got eaten up all over my body I have the pics to prove it. I immediately went down to Kayla and showed her the bug and it was confirmed to be BED BUGS!!!! With that said we wanted to leave hotel and I wanted to be reimbursed for that night bc of this nasty incident. The owner could not be reached (he didn’t answer the phone) Kayla said she emailed him and he said he’d be in on Sunday so bc Kayla was so kind and understanding we decided to switch floors and try another room. Last night we were told by Ray ( maintenance /housekeeping boss) who was also very kind that the owner would be in on Monday morning from 6a- 2p. When I woke up this morning I was told that he was in at 6a.m and left by 6:30 a.m- the kid at the front desk Andrew I think his name was-very rude. Instead of taking responsibility he Ran like a COWARD! I will be in touch with my attorney-PLENTY of other hotels to stay at!!"
