"I loved the location (right on the lake) and the staff was very friendly. Only thing I didn't like was out of their control really and that was the cleaning of the rooms everyday due to Covid. "The Alder Inn is a hidden gem just off the main street in Tahoe yet closet enough to walk anywhere downtown. What a fantastic property! The room was charming and nicely updated/modernized. "We highly enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back. The rooms are clean and decorated very well. Our tv didn’t work but we didn’t notice until late that night. "What we liked about the hotel is it’s walking distance to a lot of places. Beach is like 3 blocks away. Heavenly village is close by as well. Only thing we didn’t like was the room we were in had old carpet that had a smell.
