"Great place to stay in Matsue. Super close to the train station, an easy 15-20 min walk to the Castle District. Lots of good restaurants and konbini available nearby. Rooms are small but very comfortable. Hotel is very clean and well-run. A great place to stay."
"Located near the shore of Lake Shinji, it offers a great view of the lake. it has both indoor and outdoor onsen for people who enjoy hot spring bath. Food were execllent as well. "
"Very good, comfortable hotel with very tasty breakfasts. Close to the center and local attractions. Coffee, tea, vending machines, microwave and Japanese bath were extra bonuses."
"For only one night, the staff here were friendly and accommodating. They made check in’s and check out’s easy and quick. The room was in a good location next to the elevator and the walk to the train station was in short time. The view was also amazing as well, would come back here again for my stay in Matsue"
"This is probably one of the best experiences that I have had whilst travelling. Don't be misled by the "hostel" designation of this guest house - it is really a boutique, luxury residence in the heart of Daikon Island. First and foremost, the guesthouse owner, who speaks very good English, was very kind and drove me around the whole day. TENNENONSEN DANDANNOYU ONYADONONOMATSUE
10/10 Excellent
"This is a traditional onsen. We enjoyed it and learned a lot about Japanese culture. We'd stay again."
"What a wonderful stay, this location is off the beaten path for foreigners but it is such a hidden gem. It had an onsen, free drinks within a time limit, restaurant on premise, a show by performers every night, a beautiful garden and yukatas to borrow. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. Also while they do offer a shuttle, and bikes to rent, please make sure to inform them so they can be ready to take you/accomodare you. Please also make sure that if you book, you order with breakfast and dinner, because the nearest konbini is pretty far, and many local restaurants open later or close earlier. Will come back again if given the chance."
