"Excellent location on Kaanapali Beach. Hotel grounds are peaceful and relaxing with plenty of lawn chairs. Hotel staff are all great, true Aloha spirit comes across. Maui brewing and restaurant on premises is nice and food is excellent in addition to the beer."

"This was our second time staying at the Mahana. Our first time here was in 2020, and now in 2024. The rooms continue to be top notch, and the views are always wonderful. We had a 2 bedroom premium condo in 2020 and a 1 bedroom standard room in 2024. We could definitely tell the difference between the two types of rooms and will book the premium condo on our next stay here. Furnishings like patio and living room furniture is higher quality for sure in the premium condos. Parking is free and plentiful, and the grounds with all of the palm trees and landscaping was very well cared for. "

"Beach, rooms, staff"

"This resort is the best kept secret on Kaanapali Beach! Studio suites had full stainless kitchen, ice cold air conditioning, and is right on the beach with easy access. Plenty of chairs at the pool and the grounds are spotless. This an an older Hawaii resort with only two story buildings and free parking right outside the rooms. There are hotel style rooms in one building but they don't provide the full kitchen. Go for a studio! This is the third time staying here and never had a problem. Used the gym every morning and coffee was provided every morning from 6-10am at the main building. All of the staff was friendly and courteous, especially Leann at the front desk. Wi-fi is reliable and strong. 3 minute drive down to Whalers Village. Castaway Cafe is a small restaurant on the premises right on the beach. I have stayed at the big name hotels on Kaanapali but they don't come close to this paradise. There is also a walking path which starts at the resort and runs parallel to the beach for around 2 miles. Perfect for walking and jogging with views of the beach, Moloka'i and Lanai. Rate A ."
