"Just back from a 3 night stay at TRH Hotel in Mijas Pueblo. The staff at reception especially “Giuseppe” is a great guy, very pleasant, helpful, nothing is any bother & made me feel very welcome. The hotel is fabulous, lots of areas to relax, especially the massive pool area. Staff in the breakfast / restaurant are so nice and helpful. The range of beautiful food is unreal. "Excellent front desk and bar staff, very welcoming. Room was on ground floor as requested and room was clean and comfortable. Good selection of drinks at bar but evening meal nor taken due to our late arrival. Breakfast was fresh and offered good choice and it was included in the price of the room unlike many other hotels in the locality. We would certainly book again for an overnight stay close to the airport. Front desk staff also arranged for a taxi for the following morning."

"The staff were friendly & informative. Though the hotel is just out of the main town of Malaga, it is an easy 10mi Ute walk to the Metro (which is clean & easy to use). The hotels rooftop bar & pool were a great way to spend a relaxing afternoon. Our room was spacious, clean & with plenty of storage for clothing. Would definitely recommend!"

"Serious Concerns: - Maid entered room even with "do not disturb" sign displayed - a couple small things went missing, but nothing major. The maid did mix our dirty clothes with clean clothes, mixed my significant other's clothes with mine, and went into her personal bag that had some medication and moved things. The front desk then lied about this saying no one entered even though our beds were made, clothes folded, etc. - AC or other person according to maintenance/security produced very strong cigarette odor on our last day while we were on a day trip to Malaga. Returned to find all of our clothes smelled like cigarettes. Woke up the next morning stuffy (likely due to second hand smoke because the smell was in the hallway of the same floor of the room we were moved to).Walked past the room the next morning and it still smelled like cigarettes (maid was scrubbing down the walls of both that room and the one beside it). - Had to fight with the front desk over the problems and they wouldn't provide a written statement validating the issues. They also made excuses (suggesting it was a kid who may have thrown the do not disturb sign under our door in the maid situation above. They have a camera in the hallway and wouldn't provide a status update for us) - Had to file a formal complaint on my final night when I should have been resting for a flight the next day (they refused my request to have security come to our room and validate the smoke smell... Limited and can't write more"

"THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’ve ever experienced. Arrived at the hotel to be told I could check in without a passport, that a drivers licence wasn’t valid ID anymore- the manager even told me patronisingly to “check on ChatGPT!” Whilst the managers discussed our fate they told us to go get a drink at the bar “on them”. Then when we did that and handed over the voucher we’d been given the waitress told us that didn’t cover the drinks we had chosen- not that we have been prescribed which drinks to select, she was extremely rude and when the manager came over to tell her to explain the situation a full out argument in Spanish ensued. Quite unbelievable. The bottle blond middle aged bar lady (didn’t get her name) was so rude. I was told there was no way we could be checked in so I had to travel back to get the passports, nowhere on any of my booking information did it state that a passport was a requirement, zero effort was made to appease me or show and sympathy to the fact I had driven a long way with a young family. It was my first stay at the hotel and will be probably be my last unfortunately. I complained to the Company and they forwarded me to the Hotel Management team who I haven’t heard anything from - that was over a month ago. VERY DISAPPOINTING"
