"While I didn't have the full ryokan dining experience here, it was still super-convenient to be walking distance from many of the sights I wanted to see! I only stayed one night, but I wish I had more time to interact with the friendly staff I did meet. "I really love this hostel and have stayed there 3 times over the years now. The location is very convenient since you can easily walk to Kyoto Station and there's also bus and other train stations even closer. "We (couple) stayed here for 2 nights in one of the family rooms as we wanted our own bathroom. Room is fairly big for 2 people, windows were on the side of the building so not out to the road which was good. Looks like in the picture and cleanliness was good also.
