"We chose this hotel as it was near the park. The staff were efficient and very helpful. They have us tea and sweets on arrival before showing us to our room. The western style twin beds were clean and comfortable apart from the normal Japanese hard pillows. "The hotel has the nicest welcoming staff soon we walked to the lobby floor. They were really friendly and checked in very smoothly to our room. We had a comfy double room overlooking some mountains and houses. Train station just outside the hotel and very convenient to take trains around or going to old part of Kumamoto. We liked our stay and loved the city. Hope to return one day staying the same hotel. "
