They were extremely hospitable and have a combination of family and English-speaking staff running the inn. "Genuine authentic japanese ryokan that is owned by a husband and wife couple who have worked it for 3 generations. Warm reception and customer service combined with excellent food and a quiet comfortable atmosphere. Cant recommend enough. "
