Enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing and dinner on both nights left us very full Nice walk outside tho small town Our main goal was to relax and have good food with family
Nice size and clean room. Balcony have a view of the lake, we had the onsen on the balcony which was a plus. There is a small weather proof tv if you are soaking. The staff are excellent.
Stayed for 1 night with the family. 2 adults and 2 kids. The rooms were spacious and we stayed in the western room with private hot spring. Super clean and everything was available in the rooms, tea, kitchenette and basic toiletries. Also enjoyed the public bath with barrel sauna and cold plunge tub. We had the shabu shabu dinner which was very good with seasonal menu. Very authentic Japanese. All in all a great stay. Definitely check out their instagram to get directions to contact the shuttle if coming from the train station.
such an amazing experience at this resort from check in to everything in between. my family enjoyed the public bath & we also had a private bath in room overlooking biwa lake. nice relaxing experience in the middle of our trip to unwind. would definitely come here again.
A very excellent experience overall. Staff was spectacular! Our private onsen was fantastic and the room was fine, it actually has softer beds which is a huge difference from other hotels in Japan from my experience.
Kaiseki dinner was great, getting greeted with a cup of Yuzu Tea while we wait for check in was also great.
I only have one request if you are reading this: be exceptionally nice to the staff. We watched the ladies checking people in get mocked for how they walked in their traditional dress, even though they were going above and beyond to make sure the people staying there were receiving great service. I genuinely felt terrible for them.
We will be back one day! We loved our experience
Resort itself is clean and comfortable, the in room onsen is excellent and can change temperature to your liking. There are free drinks and alcohol included. The dinner is excellent and service is great.
My family of 6 stayed at Biwako Ryokusuitei for one night. We all had a very pleasant time enjoying the onsen, the amazing dinner/breakfast food, and the excellent services by the staff.
