"This is the perfect place for an authentic Japanese experience. The staff are wonderful and the meals are superb. Tranquil surroundings with a 5 star multi-course meals each day for breakfast and dinner. The sauna and hot baths were great for winding down after a day of touring. Touring was easy because bus lines and train lines are nearby. We were sorry to leave the Tea House and really hope to return some day. "

The owner was very kind and he provided precise recommendations for transit. He also provided us with a map of Kyoto as well as a general guidebook for tourists. "ホテルの顔である玄関の自動ドアの電源が切れてて、手動を強要してる。 Wifiが使えるか聞いたら、ロビー近くしか使えないといわれた。にも拘わらず部屋にランケーブルも無ければ、言わないと貸してくれない。大荷物持ってるのに階段でどうぞ！と言われた。（エレベーターもあるのに） 部屋の鍵が解りにくいのに説明なし。（鍵を回しながらドアを押さないと開かない）ホテルの門限23時。 歴史的には有名な地である点と川の中州に建てられたホテルなので景色は良いけど、何もなくて不便だった… フロントも居たり居なかったり、呼び鈴を押すタイプ。 愛想は悪くなかったけど、シルバー人材センターのアルバイトって感じだった。 掃除はよくされてたけど、施設は古く快適とはいいがたかった… 眺望は良かったけど、リピートはしないな。"
