Everything you need in a great location. We visited several other areas and liked Asakusa the best.

Extremely comfortable stay at onyado nono bettei. The hotel annex just opened in January of 2024 and is very clean and inviting. The service is exemplary and location is prime. Roughly 15 minute walk to asakusa station, 2 minute walk to sensoji temple, and 5 minutes to asakusa view hotel to take a limousine bus to the airport. This hotel is close by Senso-ji temple and various subway lines. The area around the hotel is usually quiet and they have a cafe with a store inside. Overall, not bad.

Queen room we originally reserved was very small (as advertised in size), so we decided to upgrade to a larger room (two twins) and it was great. Excellent shower / bath combo, high end restaurant (Italian, not Japanese) and very helpful stuff. Location is great, really close to Ueno station and everything is relatively easily accessed.

We loved the location the most. The lobby and staff and restaurant were excellent. Room is just a little outdated but very clean and in order. No complaints.

This place is great! The location is excellent—just steps away from Sensoji Temple and Nakamise-dori Street. There are tons of food options nearby, and it's within reasonable walking distance to several train stations. The mineral baths on the B1 level are a real highlight—I used them every day during my stay. They're clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped. Great location in Asakusa! Convenient to multiple train lines, food, shopping and temple grounds. Rooms are bigger than anticipated but minimal storage, no drawers and small closet. Premier lounge was a pleasant surprise and appreciated. 4th floor izakaya style food court was not up to par and disappointing, chose elsewhere to eat. Kobe restaurant is over priced and seldom busy. Uniglo store was a great! Don Quixote is a tourist trap and overpriced! Recommend and would return.

Our stay at Hotel Niwa made our Japan trip exceptional! As American travelers in our early 30s, we found this place to be a gem in Tokyo. The hotel's ambiance was simply beautiful, and the rooms were surprisingly spacious for a city known for compact spaces. Its prime location, just a 5-minute walk from a JR line, made navigating Tokyo incredibly convenient. Overall very impressed by the hotel. The staff were very helpful and spoke decent English. The hotel is right on top of a station that has a direct line to Narita Airport so there are no transfers needed. There is a nearby supermarket where you can get all the drinks and snacks you need and the Tokyo Skytree Solamachi is also right there with plenty of dining options. Friendly staff.

Excellent location with so much to do within walking distance. Multiple subway line with a 1-2 minute walk. Hotel and staff were wonderful, so pleasant and helpful. Help with Luggage storage and shipping was a great bonus for our group.

The hotel itself is very old, needs some refurbishment, but they still keep it very clean. I like our beds were being made every day, we felt very comfortable and relaxed when we returned to our room to see the clean beds after long walks.

It’s beautiful room. My husband & kids loved here. The location is so convenient with many restaurants nearby, close to station & market with a short walking distance. The park in front of hotel is so beautiful with cherry blossoms. The staff is so friendly & nicely. Front desks are fast service & come to our room to instruct us how to use washer/dryer machine. We will recommend friends staying here & we definitely come bac. Everything is perfect.

Rooms have lots of space, breakfast has variety and onsen is great after a long day of exploring the city

Right next to the train station and Shinkansen if you need to catch that.

Great location, excellent service and facility conditions. Would stay here again on my next visit to Tokyo!
