「Lovely, unusual and quaint cottage in a beautiful area. Well equipped with everything we needed. Comfortable beds. Loved the stairs and rooms on different levels but might be difficult for some. Shops, cafes and pubs right outside the front door. Great stay in a lovely area. 」

「Really loved out stay at Little Mell Fell. Great instructions to find it. Set up really well for either a couple or a family of 4. Love that it's pet friendly. Was really clean and felt relatively recently done. The location was great to get around Ullswater and out to the surrounding lakes. 」

"個人の邸宅を改装している趣きのあるホテル。湖畔は目の前で、フェリー乗り場にもすぐの素晴らしいロケーション。街中にも近い。階段が多いことや廊下が軋むことなど、建物の古さは感じるが、泊まった部屋は改装後でシャワーとバス別々にあり、湖畔側なので朝の湖を眺めることができ快適だった。レセプション、ルームサービス、レストラン等のスタッフもとても親切で、レストランの予約や観光プランなどの相談にも対応し、幼児にも優しく接してくれた。コメントに書かれているような人種差別的な態度は感じられなかった。ただし、外装工事中(かなり長い期間行っている模様)の表示がサイトにないこと、リフトが故障しており、見たところ修理する予定もなさそうなこと(荷物は運んでくれるが、幼児を抱えての移動には苦労あり)、結局最初の日は街中のレストランの予約が取れず、それ以上のサポートがなかったことを勘案した評価としました。"
