Short Maui Studio Apartment Rental

Check-in at 4 PM was a bit later than we would have liked, but overall, this studio had everything we needed for a quick stay on the island. The air conditioner was a nice bonus, and while the space is small, it worked perfectly for us since we spent most of our time out exploring. If you plan to hang out in the room a lot, it might feel a little cramped.The location is fantastic; right across the street from a gorgeous beach and within walking distance of a grocery store and great restaurants. The price was reasonable, and we’d definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay!

Great location and great place for a couple. It’s as described. Right across the street from the beach offering superb sunsets. Comfy place that’s well stocked with spices, tp, paper towels - all the things you usually have to buy at a VRBO. We never got a location from VRBO (no “here are you keys” email), but the host replied immediately upon our message. I would definitely stay here again!

Very nice complex. Clean and close to everything. Owner really went out of her way to help me out when my flight was canceled and I could have been homeless for 2 nights. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice ecept for traffic noise.

Nice property with good parking, pool, and hot tub. Convenient location, beach adjacent. The only downside is that the unit faces directly onto Kihei Road, the busy highway leading into Kihei. This made for continuous traffic noise making it hard to enjoy the balcony.

Comfortable, Ideal Location

This condo had everything we needed, and some things we didn’t know we would. Plenty of linens and kitchen supplies, comfortable bed and sofa, and a great location across the street from the beach. Hot tub and pool were especially nice after a long day at the beach.

3 Days at Kihei

We only had 3 days for our first visit to Maui and were really pleased with the location (close to the beach, humpback whale centre, shops & restaurants) and amenities of the Ocean View Studio. (Got to say - we did not get a chance to try out the pool or BBQ - but would have done so if we had stayed longer). We really appreciated the fans and big windows (did not use the A/C at all). We also made good use of the beach extras (chairs, towels, soft cooler). One negative was that we didn't realize that the road in front of the suite was the main drag for the "Kihei Strip" - We found that the traffic noise was quite noticeable (with doors and windows open). Otherwise the suite was clean and comfortable and made a good base camp for our short expedition.

Great spot!

This is a lovely spot, very conveniently in North Kihei so it’s pretty centrally located. The condo was quite clean and included many useful things — so nice to not have to pack beach towels! We enjoyed several meals on the balcony. It’s amazing to be able to walk across the street and into the water! The closest beach is well sheltered for kids to play in, with a number of turtles who choose to sleep on the rocks! The only drawback is that the street noise is a bit loud through the night, but the fan of the AC unit gave enough white noise to block it out. A perk: we really appreciated being able to check in early. Everything was easy!

This is an amazing condo! My husband and I will be back soon. It is centrally located, beautifully furnished, across the beach where you can watch turtles in the morning feeding. We stopped at Costco for groceries and cooked our dinners on the bbq by the pool, met really nice people even shared dinners! The place is immaculate, pool and spa are cleaned daily and are so refreshing to relax in at the end of a busy day watching whales and snorkeling with turtles and the most beautiful fish in the world. I would highly recommend this condo for a romantic getaway or girls getaway actually anyway you can get there would be worth it :) Snorkel gear is furnished too!

Do not stay here if you have more than 2 people

We stayed at Jennifer’s place for just one night, and we were so happy it was only one night. The condo is very small but was pretty clean. However, there were stains all over the dining room chairs and the items were definitely old. We pulled out the pull out couch (easy enough) and there were stains all over the mattress and it was ripped all over. Pulling out the couch left no room for walking in the condo but that wasn’t the worst part. I have never, ever seen or slept on a pull out couch that is in worse shape than this one. You can feel and hear every spring. It completely sags in the middle at least 10” and you honestly feel like you are going to fall right through. It was really unbearable. My mistake though as I read some of the reviews and other people have said the exact same thing. So obviously the owner is aware and I also contacted her about it too. The plus side is that the other real bed in the condo is actually very comfortable, so if it is just two people staying there, it may actually be ok. The ocean can be seen from the balcony which was nice, but there is no place to walk for coffee, groceries or restaurants in that area.

Not a bad price. The location was great. Host was responsive, but had issues with the cable one day into my trip until I left. Another issue that was ongoing and mentioned it to the host. Overall, it was okay.

Nice stay overall

We are actually satisfied with the stay. It’s big enough for 2 people, studio apartment with kitchen and everything you need. It was not properly cleaned , looks old , but we are really fine with that. Location is also great, we enjoyed sunsets on the beach across the street. It could be loud for sensitive people during the evening and early morning because it’s near the main road and cars are pretty often. But we are happy that chose this stay.
