「Great room. Everything you need. Friendly staff and a delicious breakfast. Excellent value. Although the kitchen was closed when we stayed we were very welcome to eat our takeaway pizzas in the pub grounds. A lovely stay」

「The food was very good and staff great. Grace was a wonderful server. The inn is certainly olde and genuine. Not a pretend olde . Rooms are very unusual with individual names. All are separate from the pub. Obviously the pub is the main venue for the local population. The room was modest size but had two TVs. The shower floods the bathroom. Not a big deal.」

「The room 214 was beautiful but unfortunately next to the kitchen extractor vent which kept going all night very loud The staff said it couldn’t be turned off It would stop for 10 minutes then start off again It needs to be addressed If not in that room it would all have been fine」

「Lovely lovely old hotel/pub in a charming village. Dear Lord it was so hot when we were there but we hada turbo fan provided. Parking is slightly limited but we always nabbed a space. Everything was clean and the restaurant was great. The best place for miles.」

「A beautiful place to spend a night or two if exploring the area. Comfortable individual rooms. The one I stayed in looks like it was once a stable block. Well furnished and very clean. Staff very friendly. Good parking. Close to picturesque village centre with many shops selling local produce. Highly recommended.」
