"I really liked traditional Japanese Ryokan atmospher in this property. I also enjoyed hotspring with my 2 year-old kid. "

"Amenities are well complete, location is good if you have car. Building is a bit old and linen are not very fresh."

"I was surprised to see a Ryokan listed. This type of “ hotel” usually charges by the person not the room and it’s expensive. I was so excited to get such a great deal but turns out it was not. The price seemed low at first for a room including breakfast but they hid the cost of the breakfast in the service charge, and extra fees. And then they tried to charge us again for the entire stay. We waited ten minutes for them to figure out we already paid. And finally they said we owed another $ 25...

"Unfussy hotel, decent food, beautiful views. Lovely onsen, although the property was obviously aged and certain parts had peeling paint. Overall a great stay for the price. "

"Close to bus station. Close to stone steps. Older hotel but staff was very nice. Near steep hill, so I walked about 50 yards to ask staff at driveway if this was the hotel I was looking for. Then he ran up the hill to help us with our bags. I was very pleased."

"Beautiful hotel lobby and very friendly staff. Location can be a challenge to get to if the roads are snowy. 4WD / snow tire or chains a must in winter. "

"The outdoor private onsen is amazing. Staff with limited English but willing to help. The booking system for the private onsen is based on first come first serve, no reservation ahead so you have to keep calling front desk to check for availability....that needs to be changed. Other than that, I'd recommend it to those who enjoy traditional Japanese Ryokan."

"年末一泊でしたが、とても空いていました。 私と夫だけ。 ホテル貸し切り状態。 大風呂も独り占め❗️ これで、お部屋がもう少し広くて、ベッドかソファがあれば、くつろげるかしら？ でも、電気こたつが、ホカホカに暖かくて、昔の家を思い出しました。 お風呂はぬるめで、私は気に入りました。"

"少し寒目の季節にお世話になりました。お庭の白樺の紅葉がとても美しく、生涯の中で伺えて良かった宿です。お料理も素晴らしく、手厚くおもてなしいただきました。露天風呂まであり、最高です。長く続いている宿だそうで、改装してあるところないところの差はあれど、総じて清潔感もあり、過ごしやすかったです"

"昭和の頃の建物のようでトイレは和式を改装し洋式になっていましたが古さは隠せません。 携帯の電波も弱くWi-Fiの環境も無いため若い人には向かないと思います。 ただ割烹旅館だけあり料理はとても美味しく楽しめました。また周囲が公園と住宅街という事もあり静かで良かったです。"

"This is an immaculate property that I would recommend to anyone. It’s quaint, well-managed, and simply a pleasurable place to spend time with a loved one. One complaint, however, is the bed. It’s quite possible the firmest bed I’ve tried to sleep on, so I wouldn’t recommend the western-style room."
