"My second time staying here. Really good location and everything within walking distance. Short walk to Kamakura Station. Alot of shops and cafes nearby. Pharmacy, supermarket and konbini right opposite the hotel. Adjacent to the 2nd tori gate that leads to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu. Clean room and facilities. The outdoor area outside the lobby is a nice place to enjoy a hot drink. "

"Very friendly and attentive staff greeted our early arrival and held our bags until check in. Rooms were clean and comfortable, although small. Breakfast was excellent and check out was a breeze! Close to train station and busy part of town but very walkable. Don't miss the hanging monorail! Next trip we will stay more than one night."

"My first experience with the Toyoko Inn chain and a very good one. It’s a typical Japanese business hotel, but this location was especially clean, well maintained, and efficiently run. A comfortable and affordable place to spend the night. It’s a short walk from the main dining and nightlife areas, but the town is small and easy to get around, with friendly locals and a relaxed vibe. The only downside was the breakfast, which did not really suit my tastes as a westerner, though many guests seemed to enjoy it. I’d probably skip it and eat in town instead."
