The shower is a separate room with a bathtub plus a shower area big enough for wheelchair even though it is not a wheelchair accessible shower. The rest of the room is smaller especially if you have large suitcases. Amenities: you pick up what you need at a table in the lobby. No hand lotion. Toilet papers are very thin. Breakfast has large selection of Japanese items and fewer western items. "

"Thought it was a easy assembly area, but it tran only run every 15-30 minutes to Kyoto station. Kyoto bus is always packed with people, get around take long time. But there is a family mart right at the hotel, very convenient for quick snack. Also Starbucks less than a minute walk. Recommend for leisure traveler."

"This was our favorite hotel on our 10 day trip to Japan. The onsen was amazing, the massage chairs hit the spot when available, and we enjoyed the free coffee / ice cream / ramen daily. We did not add breakfast. The check in area can get hectic, but they had plenty of staff and things moved along nicely. Highly recommend!"
