"We appreciated having a home base so close to the west entrance of Joshua tree National park. We enjoyed quiet mornings reading in the hammocks and soaking in the hot tub or watching a movie after long days in the park. The teens really enjoyed the game garage as well. The host was stellar at communication with recommendations and very responsive when we had questions. We were there for a week and he reached out midway to see if anything needed restocked (it didn’t because they had planned ahead). We enjoyed our time in Joshua tree."

"So glad we found this property and stayed here for our visit to Joshua Tree. The house is lovely - classic mid-century and beautifully styled. Eric (the host) went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and there were lots of little touches such as quality toiletries, coffee, etc. The Stargazing dome and hot tub were the cherries on top each night after exploring Joshua Tree National Park (which is just 10 minutes away). It's a one of a kind property and experience - highly recommend!"

"The Modern Guesthouse is very conveniently located near several great shops and restaurants and it was also easy to get to the JT Music Festival from there. It’s cozy, comfortable, and has a very good vibe. Mark, the host is a great communicator, responds quickly and had lots of good suggestions on things to do while we were there. I definitely recommend this location "
