"Staff was friendly and quick check in. My room was very clean and spacious. Bed, linens and towels were nice. The room had a refrigerator and microwave. There was a coffee pot with packaged coffee, but they don't offer fresh coffee in the lobby or a continental breakfast. There is a restaurant located somewhere on the property, but no one mentioned the location of it. The carpets in the buildings where the rooms are located are outdated and very worn. They almost look filthy but there was always someone cleaning, so I think they just need to be replaced."

"Beautiful step-back-in-time home with lovely amenities. Very private with gorgeous views! Loved the outdoor shower and hot tub! Rock tub was cool but was too cold for us to soak in. House is situated in a nice half way point to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree. Staying here definitely made for a memorable experience! "

"Off the beaten path, everything was as advertised. Outstanding communication. Really enjoyed the outside spaces. Great central location for visiting Joshua Tree and Palm Springs. I would suggest a vehicle with good ground clearance, the last mile of road might challenge a low vehicle."

"We have been traveling extensively for the last 30 years and this is one of our favorite places. Perfectly located in a great neighborhood, spacious, and airy and the backyard patio was perfect. We loved it so much that we booked it for six weeks next year already. It is close to the Mission Lakes Country Club with a pool and restaurant and with a quick easy ride into iconic Palm Springs. David was a perfect host and we highly recommend his home."

"Never found washer and dryer. Thought it was strange and made us feel uncomfortable that the property manager or other employee was waiting at the end of the driveway for us to leave at time of check out. "

"Neat house with mountain views which was great at sunset. Had all the amenities other than a dishwasher. Location was ok being fairly close to Joshua Tree, but not many places to take the dog for a walk. Would recommend for the price though"
