There were a few things I would have liked to have seen (in pictures) as far as what the main level two rooms looked like as far as space, that perhaps would have helped decide our "living situation", but other than that, we enjoyed the accommodations. "This cabin is perfect for a family of 4-5. The updates throughout are thoughtful and comfy. If you’re a skier - I’m not LOL - you will appreciate the views of the slopes and the walking distance. And it was just a short drive to the Big Bear Blvd. when needing to pick up some last minute groceries, etc. Chris and Melanie were wonderful hosts and quick to respond to any questions I had. "

"Very cute cabin with everything we needed and everything was clean. Loved the layout and how cozy it felt. The back porch was even fenced off so my dog could go out there. It was within walking distance to Big Bear Mountain (about a 13 minute walk) which made snowboarding early very easy. We did have a problem with no hot water coming from the shower, but the owner was immediately responsive and had someone come out to fix it very quickly. Overall it was a great stay and very dog friendly. "

"This is a lovely house, very close to Bear Mountain. The great room is perfect for group activities and the hot tub was much appreciated after skiing. There are some things that could use updating (the glasswear, a few lightbulbs, etc) but it's very homey and comfortable."

"We appreciated the good communication about our stay. The cabin was so beautiful! It was very nicely furnished and comfortable. The shuffle board was an excellent amenity. The kitchen was so large and open, but the wood-burning fireplace was a selling feature--our brother requested that in particular to celebrate his 70th birthday and we all really enjoyed it! We also really enjoyed the unobstructed view out the back--gorgeous!"

"Very cute cabin that looked exactly like the photos! The view from the loft was also beautiful to wake up to. Perfect for winter trips as the A-Frame layout is super easy to heat up. Check in/out was also very smooth and the place was also ready much earlier in the day than expected which was amazing.Only downside that others have mentioned is the cleanliness. Not bad but the place could really do with a deep cleaning-- there's dust and cobwebs on the upper areas that seem to have been there for years, the windows could also do with a cleaning & there was still previous pet fur on the carpets/furniture which didn't bother me but if you're allergic it might do. Dishes were also a bit grimy on arrival and we struggled to help keep the place clean because we weren't provided with a sponge to wipe countertops/sinks. "
