"The Wachapreague Inn is a quaint, local treasure that is quiet and clean. We enjoyed our stay and the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. The room was clean, the beds were soft, and they have great hot water! The town itself is very small and quiet. We were only in town for one night, but we hope to come back another time to stay longer and explore."

I would strongly suggest the owners clean the showerhead as the water was spraying in every direction and clean the blinds on the windows as they were visibly quite dirty."

"I think better seating on the front porch would be nice. A swing, Adirondack chairs. I did like having a table. The view from the front porch was the best. I think with the sulfer smell a water filtration system is a must if it gets the smell out. Not sure if it would or not."

"Unfortunately our visit was dealt a blow from Mother Nature. However, we did not let that ruin our time. A few road trips, dining out and in town shopping made up for no beach time. The Crows Nest has a fabulous view of the marina and we did get one glimpse of the sun as it set. Normal weather conditions, I'm sure it is fabulous. The Coast Guard has a few boats there and it is fascinating to hear their morning check. Saw the Pilot boat go out several times and a few fishing boats come in. Seagulls, pelicans and other birds in abundance. When booking the Crows Nest, keep in mind it is above a restaurant so there is some residual noise. Nothing unbearable unless you are a light sleeper. No TV in the living area which we thoroughly enjoyed as we chatted and laughed the nights away. There is one in the main floor bedroom, should you need. Definitely fit the bill for a much needed recharge, for besties that live 1300mi apart."

"My wife and I stayed here for one night. The apartment was clean and had everything that we needed. I owner was quick with a response with a question I had. It was in the perfect location. Downtown Cape Charles is within walking distance and everything else is pretty close by. There is a restaurant right nextdoor and plenty of other dining options on main street. Next time we do a weekend getaway to Cape Charles, I would stay here again."

"We had a wonderful stay! We especially loved the dog-friendly location and how easy it was to enjoy the area with our pup. Having the golf cart rental was such a fun bonus and made getting around even more enjoyable and convenient.The only small suggestion we would have is to make the dining area a little easier to access. We found ourselves needing to move furniture before and after meals, which was a bit cumbersome.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the location was fantastic. We would happily stay here again!"
