"Great value for the Paris airport. Feet away from the tram line (CDG VAL) for quick acccess to any terminal. We suprised to see a number of dining options right in the lobby."
"We really had the best time staying 4 nights at Novotel Paris, my kids loved it too. The free breakfast was good and it's a 15- munute walk to the Eiffel tower so we went to the tower every afternoon to end the day. Our room was cleaned everyday. The only thing I don't like is that the sink was separated from the restroom, but that is not a big issue really. There is also a water refilling station which we used everyday. The lobby is always clean and they have 6 elevators so it is very convenient! Our room also has the view of the Siene River so it's beautiful at night! "
"The Libertel Montmartre Opéra is undeniably one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in, and the staff were genuinely welcoming and professional. However, despite the positives, we did not get a single night of quality sleep during our 4-night stay, which overshadowed the entire trip.
We booked specifically for the advertised "Climate-controlled Air Conditioning" and "Soundproofing." Unfortunately, we discovered that the AC is turned off "seasonally." Because the hotel is in the heart of Pigalle: an incredibly vibrant but very loud nightlife area you are caught in an impossible trap:
1. Keep the windows closed for the promised soundproofing and "boil" in a room with no ventilation.
2. Open the windows to cool down and endure shouting and street noise all night long.
When we asked for a fan to help mitigate the heat, we were told the hotel didn't have any and "nothing could be done." To add to the frustration, the hotel's own digital feedback system (sent via email during the stay) was non-responsive when we tried to log our issues.
We left our trip completely exhausted. If you value a temperate, quiet room, be very careful booking here during shoulder seasons (April/October) as the advertised climate control may not be available, rendering the soundproofing useless."
"We booked a room with Eiffel Tower View, I paid extra for it, mind you it's our 10 year anniversary which only happens once in a lifetime, when we got there got told in a rudely manner that the room is unavailable and we have to stay in a room with two single beds and no Eiffel Tower View(which I paid for and booked ahead of time) as that is the only one room available in the entire hotel(basically go elsewhere or stay in that room). 9 times out of 10 staff were rude and unwelcoming. Will not come back definitely"
" Overall nice. Room was clean & peaceful. If you come from T2, go to the “train station” to take the CDGVAL to T3. Took 30’, 25” walk (I’m neither young nor healthy). Neighborhood is hotels and corporate buildings. Roissy Pôle is not the best area; I crossed path with “scarry” individuals. Hotel is easy to find, straight from the Roissy Pôle exit. Colorful commons area, ambiance is energetic, “hype” and trendy (co-working/open space/hub)-a lot going on. Better be a technophile or computer savvy-self check-in/check-out on screens at the kiosk (employees present-don’t expect too much if sthg goes wrong). iPad provided in the room to control lights, curtains and blinds, and TV (trad. switches too). Small room. No space for luggage. Shower/toilet within a plastic “egg” in the middle of the room, not separate. Provide shower products not individual toiletries. No coffeemaker nor beverages in the room (eco-friendly and safety reasons)> downstairs to get water, tea or coffee, was too tired to deal with the hustle and bustle, Small fridge, no microwave. Room has fancy light programs for ambient moods. Breakfast is expensive-over 20 euros. Bakery & groceries at Roissy Pole. Fun, not for shy people. No manager available at the time. No cash accepted, you need a debit or credit card for everything."
