"Very lovely staff, good location and very nice rooms, definitely reccomend"

"This small hotel is really cute. The rooms are clean, equipped and super nice! The staff was really helpful and polite. They have breakfast and they have 2 light meals during the day which were good and perfect for what they are. Really happy with the property and the experience. I loved the bathtub with view on the interior garden."

"staff was wonderful, so helpful and friendly; room clean, common areas clean and peaceful"

"Beautiful room with garden view. "

"The location is excellent, 10/10. Very close to Nishiki Market, plenty of convenience stores and restaurants. Also close to multiple transport lines. No staff on site and we didn’t see any staff in a 4 night stay apart from a cleaner. Check in is on the 5th floor of a building opposite Kyoto station. The room was on the small side and felt more cramped with 2 tables in the space (1 dining table is enough, no need for a separate desk and writing chair). Would recommend for the location."

"Very friendly owners and staff. Clean, comfortable property, and it was a great experience staying in an old house. Highly recommend, as long as you are ok with a shared bath."

"It was a charming place in the regular neighborhood and we really enjoy the stay. Japanese breakfast every morning was nice and we also enjoyed wonderful bakery and coffee shop"

"Great accommodation to stay at. Staff were lovely to speak with and very knowledgeable, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, it's a good location away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre and the main tourist spots. I stayed here twice over my time in Japan and I'd stay there again."

"素晴らしい宿泊施設です。 建物も新しくとても綺麗で水回りも清潔でした。 心配でバスタオルタオルドライヤー歯ブラシを持っていきましたがきちんとありました。"

"Nice spacious room with tatami, clean and true to the photos. Obviously the tatamis are not the most comfy option there is on general but it was really fine and we were happy to have tried. The house is well equipped too. The neighborhood is very charming, close to the Nijo-jo castle, but not that touristy. Lots of narrow streets, cute coffee places, good bars and local restaurants, plus an area that you wouldn't necessarily plan on visiting. Very good value for the price overall, would...
