「We rented the Hörgsland cottage. It’s new and large but poorly designed and not well thought out. The top bunk of the bunk beds are too high with no room to sit up. The heating/AC unit in our cottage was not working - at first the fan was loud and there was no heat, then it started dripping water and chunks of ice fell out. 「We absolutely loved our stay at Ásgeirsstaðir Cottages!! We wish we could have stayed more than just a night, but we had to move along to our next destination. The cottage was perfectly equipped with everything one might need. The beds were comfortable, there was a cozy living room and dining area, and our particular cabin was at the end of the road on the edge of a beautiful lupine patch. 「Cute little place! Location and view were excellent but no toilet paper when we reached. Sent a msg but no response. Bath room door doesn’t close properly and shower goes scalding hot to super cold and we have to find small window of time to use on us! Not great for the price charged!」
