The small cottage was cute and homely, and clean. The only thing to note is that the shower/bathroom is incredibly small (shower doors fold out). It didn’t bother us but may be challenging for someone taller/bigger. "

"Property is set in a very scenic location. Room was big and spacious. Everything relatively new. Kitchen had huge dining table and well stocked cutlery. Two bathrooms shared across 7 rooms. Was quite clean. Morning hours after 8 am bathrooms got a bit busy. Overall very nice property "

"The guesthouse was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked. The dogs and cat on the property were friendly. The location was perfect to be able to see black sand beach at sunrise. I would recommend removing the carpet in the bedroom. A complimentary breakfast would be appreciated. "

"This was our second stay in a year’s time. If you don’t know what to expect, you may be surprised. It’s an old boarding school, so it has a cool factor. It feels like you’ve stepped back in time because everything looks original. The rooms are old but clean and have a bed, table, and sink. The bathrooms are down the hall, old but clean as well. "Beautiful location with friendly staff. The main house where checkin and breakfast happened was warm and welcoming. Very cute rooms! One thing to note, is it does require a gravel road a bit off the Ring Road. We didn’t mind this, and it was still easy to find "

"No one was there when we arrived but we soon found out that they were over booked and we we put up in a nearby hotel that was of a much poorer quality for the same price. I have read other reviews saying that when they arrived they found out that the hotel was overbooked too so this might be a policy of theirs. Nice enough place otherwise but I would not recommend."

"This was a guesthouse where we were greeted by the owner as we drove up. She showed us our room, which was clean and comfortable. She also made wonderful pancakes for breakfast for everyone, it felt like a family meal. I would recommend to anyone wanting something other than the sterile hotel room experience. "
