「Absolutely stunning room and breakfast at the hotel across the parking lot was a bonus. The property is on the main road in town so the view is just OK but the location is unbeatable and it was very quiet at night. Only complaint was the lights... numerous switches and its not clear what controls what. And the fireplace ran out of fuel but we didnt contact anyone as we were only there for 2 nights. Wish we couldve stayed longer!」

「My son and I stayed here for 2 nights this past week. Loved it! The room was clean and spacious, with a window that opened which was so nice! Breakfast was excellent, with eggs, bacon, fruits, bread and coffee. Very friendly staff that took pride in their work. I would definitely stay again!」

「I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! Hosts were kind and welcoming, room was cozy and kitchenette was well equipped. They offered us welcome treats and board games were also available. I can definitely recommend to stay this place for several nights. Only thing you should be aware of is, that there’s no restaurants or shops nearby. You must bring your own food.」

「The location is very nice, nestled at the base of Peter's Island which offers a beautiful view and between two excellent sightseeing spots. Dyrholey is about 10 minutes to the east, and the the Skogafoss waterfall is about 10 minutes to the west. Nero (dog) was a sweet and friendly welcoming committee, The place is pretty pricey for the condition of the property, and breakfast wasn't included in our plan. The walls are also very thin, even though we had a private bathroom we could still hear...

「The property owner never sent me an instruction email. When I connected them to get a code and key, they provided no information other than a code. The code didn’t work, the main building look abandoned. It was terrible and felt like a scam. I’m hoping Expedia can help me get a refund because the property owner appears to be irresponsible and unaccountable. Do NOT book here. Expedia should not list them!」

「We stayed for one night during our Ring road trip. It was a convenient location and we had a good night sleep in the guesthouse. The only downside is the showers are extremely small and difficult for an adult to fit into. But the beds were comfortable and the common room upstairs was well equipped, so no major complaints for the price.」
