「It's a basic room. One shower between 4. We found the room very noisy, right next to the kitchen and dining, so a lot of clattering until late. The staff at breakfast seemed more like security, checking room numbers and watching to make sure nobody took anything. Picked for the location which was to get the bus to Landmanalugger.」

「We were notified by the Grindavik Guesthouse 1 day prior to our arrival that the town of Grindavik was closed due to volcanic activity. Even though the town was closed, the Grindavik Guesthouse refused to refund payment. 」

「Favorite place I’ve stayed in so far in Isafjordur. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast has a nice variety and location was quiet. I would stay here again!」
