"We found this hidden gem after deciding to stay in Hartzen for another day with our two little kids. It is located by a nice creek and a lovely little public playground which my kids had great pleasure taking adventures around. Furthermore, it is obvious that the (friendly) manager cares for the place. Had a great talk with him! The staff was pleasant and the location is truly unique. Great stay, dinner and breakfast for a very decent price. Great service too. Definitely gonna book more days...

"The hotel is outdated and needs investment to improve the stay. The proprietor was welcoming (she unfortunately had very little English and unfortunately our German was very poor too - which made communication more challenging). She got up early to see us off and was helpful when the bed broke as soon as I lay down on it. Unfortunately the beds were very uncomfortable, the single mattresses on the double bed leaned outwards from the centre resulting in a night of perpetual fear of rolling out...
