"One of the best stays I’ve had. Very good value for money, absolutely lovely house and host, I would strongly recommend! It’s isolated and located right on a rich network of footpaths which is perfect for a countryside retreat. In December, the garden and surroundings were still full of birds and interesting mushrooms. Lovely attention to details, little messages throughout the house, a truly special place full of history! The owners are lovely and I was lucky enough to have a chat over tea with...

"Away from all traffic with lovely views this well equipped apartment provides an ideal base for West Sussex and Surrey. The kitchen is particularly good and we much enjoyed our second stay here."

"My wife and I stayed a couple of nights with our dog, as we were visiting a nearby dog rescue. The room was clean, nicely decorated and well equipped with kettle, tea, coffee, milk, towels and toiletries. Good shower and nice sized bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had an excellent meal at the restaurant. If we ever find ourselves in the area again we will definitely return. "
