My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here in 2018, so we were already familiar with this lovely spot. It’s super close to Ohio Pyle, which is a huge plus! The cabin was nice and clean, though I think it might be time to consider replacing the carpet. We also noticed there wasn't a frying pan, which we really needed for cooking almost every meal, so we had to get a little creative there! The bedroom features a sliding glass door that leads out to the yard, but it seemed like the path could use a little sweeping. When it came to letting our dog out, we had a few options: we could either navigate toward the neighboring house, step up the wall from the bedroom, or take our furry friend to another grassy area in front of the cabin. While we were there, we found some nails scattered in the front grass, which was a bit concerning. There was also quite a bit of trash by the shed behind the carport. If we hadn't brought along our dog, I think these little issues might not have stood out as much.Despite those quirks, the cabin really did feel cozy and welcoming when we stepped inside, and I absolutely love that atmosphere. The hot tub was fantastic! I know some guests mention the proximity of the road, but with the privacy wall, we felt just fine. Plus, the cabin is set back enough that it didn’t feel intrusive at all. One of the highlights was having chocolate-covered strawberries and a cheese tray delivered for our arrival, what a treat! We’d definitely book with OVR again.
